We loved our four night stay over the holidays. The hotel is warm, welcoming and located in a beautiful setting. We highly recommend it.

We stayed at Zur Pfeffermühle for one night on our way back from a road trip — and what a boutique gem! Our room was newly renovated and beautifully designed, with clear intent and attention to detail: from the bathroom tiles to the furniture. The service was impeccable and the staff extremely friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with real care for quality. Thank you for creating such a special place. We loved every moment and will definitely return when we are in the region!

Without a doubt the best experience we’ve had in a ski hotel! The service is perfect, the food was outstanding with a varied menu daily, the room was spacious and modern. Spa was lovely! We have no faults at all, and has set a new standard for ski hotels for us. Lovely touches included the herbal pillow menu, free ski lockers at the Nasserinbahn lift and a driver to and from ski lifts. In terms of practicality, a driver from the hotel will take you to the Nasserinbahn lift from opening to 11am, and then from 3pm - 5pm. Outwith those hours the free ski bus stops 50m from the hotel and runs every 30 mins (at night it’s hourly). Breakfast was incredible! If you have the chance to book this hotel, do it half board as the restaurant is one of the best in St Anton! Looking forward to returning again!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Zur Pfeffermühle in February and it was one of the highlights of our trip (second only to the skiing). The hotel is surrounded by stunning views that adds a sense of calm to the stay, and this is really the ethos of the hotel. The staff were kind, thoughtful and always willing to help; the rooms are stunning in their layout and design; the cleaning staff always had creative designs with the duvets each morning; and the food was always 10/10. It meant there was a perfect sanctuary to come back to after a day on the slopes (particularly helped by the fantastic on-sight spa!). The shuttle between the main ski lift and the hotel was also seamless and made transport easy, however if you did want to walk into the main town then it is only a 20 minute walk and very easy route. In summary, it was a truly wonderful stay and we're already looking at when we can come back and experience more of this lovely area.

Family-owned and meticulously maintained hotel. To say spotless is an understatement. Family members and other staff members were exceptionally polite and attentive. Rooms are clean and cozy. If you try, you cannot find one issue. Abundance of towels, hardwood floors, and heated floors. All is thought through like it's St.Rigis hotel. And the food that is served for breakfast adn dinner is out of this world. It truly feels as  Michellin star restaurant! Every day, different courses were served, sourced from local farms and businesses.  It was just exceptional room and board in one of the best places to ski.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Zur Pfeffermuhle 1st week in March 2026. We had an amazing stay. The hotel is fabulous, situated in a very quiet area of St Anton a quiet 15/20 minute walk through a residential/hotel lined street (or riverside walk) away from the hustle and bustle of the lovely atmospheric centre of the town. The hotel operates a shuttle bus to and from the Nassarein Ski lift and is literally a 2 minute drive if that. Our room was on the 2nd floor, large, modern and very comfortable. The restaurant and comfortable modern bar area were great and the food was fantastic. They offer afternoon snacks 3-5pm, great coming off the mountain. The Wellness area and relaxation area is again modern and exceptional. Most of all our praise must go to all of the lovely staff who couldn’t do enough to accommodate guests and provide a very high level of hospitality. We have skied Austria every year for the past 35 years and this is up there as our best stay.

We stayed for 5 nights in the hotel for a wintersports trip with friends. We had 3 rooms with balcony which were really great. Beds are very comfortable and room was spacious. With half board we enjoyed a really extensive breakfast selection and the dinner every night was a feast! The walk-in till 8.30pm was very suitable for us as we liked to aim around 8pm due to some après ski. Overall we had a great stay with amazing hosts. A special thanks to Theodore for making our stay even more welcoming.

So delighted with our stay here. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and helpful- offering advice for any questions we had. Breakfast was incredible, one of the party was vegan and exceptionally well catered for, as the manager/owner went round and showed exactly what they were able to eat. The room were comfortable and the spa was excellent. We will always come back here, we have zero criticisms!

Really sweet hotel with a gorgeous view on the mountains. You can start your tour right there after a superbe breakfast, served by very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice, clean and comfy, the SPA area is not huge but it has everything you need and feels private. Dinner is a dream and the prices for snacks, drinks etc. are moderate as the quality is very high! Dogs and children are welcome. Thank your dear Pfeffermühle-Team, we will definitely come back :)
