Since 1975, the Pfeffermühle has been a home for families – including our own. You’ll feel it throughout the house: lively, welcoming, and designed for all generations to feel comfortable.

#### On the road with **children**

Enjoy your family time without hectic and stress with a child-friendly half-board that satisfies their hunger for big mountain adventures and the right equipment on site - from high chairs to travel cots. When you set off to discover the mountains and nature around St. Anton am Arlberg, we will be happy to share our excursion tips for children with you: tested by ourselves, of course!

## FAQs

### Is childcare available?

No. We don't have an entertainment program - but a house where children are welcome and families can spend time together.

### Are there cribs and highchairs?

Yes, we are happy to provide cribs and highchairs for children.

### Which rooms are suitable for families?

Our family rooms offer two separate sleeping areas on 33-38 m². For more space, we recommend our apartments with 70 m² including kitchen.

### Are you a family-friendly hotel?

No—and we’d rather say that up front than later. We don’t offer any entertainment programs, mini-clubs, or supervised activities. What we do offer is a place where families have been a natural part of the community since 1975. If you’re looking for organized activities, you’ll be better off elsewhere. If you’re looking for peace and quiet to do your own thing, this is the place for you.

### Do you have beds for babies and toddlers?

Yes, cribs measuring 70 × 140 centimeters, suitable for children from 0 to 36 months. For children up to about two years old, we’ll automatically set one up in the room—you don’t have to worry about it. We have plenty of them, even if several families arrive at the same time.

### What can we borrow on site?

High chair with newborn insert, changing pad, baby monitor, baby nest, baby bouncer, safety rail, potty, and step stool. Just let us know before you arrive, and everything will be ready for you. Our kitchen can prepare baby food upon request.

### Where can we change a diaper?

We'd be happy to lend you a changing pad for your room. There's only a built-in changing table in the public restroom—we're letting you know this so you can plan accordingly.

### What do the children eat?

We offer a special children’s menu that can be ordered all day long—regardless of our regular meal times. And if your child would rather eat whatever is served at the table, the half-board menu is also available to children—they’re welcome to order just part of it. Chef Patrick and his team will be happy to prepare it for them.

### Is there a place to play?

Our game room is located in the basement—it’s a space, not a program. Board games and puzzles are available at the front desk, and there’s room in the common areas for a game night.

### Can we go out to eat just the two of us sometime?

If you need a babysitter, our front desk can help you arrange one. We don't provide babysitting services ourselves—but we know people who do.

### Where do children learn to ski?

For practice, we recommend the Kinderland in Nasserein, the Kindlisfeldlift, or the practice area in St. Christoph. For beginners, there’s also a point-based ticket instead of the full Arlberg Pass—we’ll let you know at the front desk which option is best for your week.

### How do we get to the lift with the kids?

With our hotel shuttle. In the winter, it takes you to the ski resort, and year-round, it takes you to the train station—no lugging skis, no hunting for parking. Ski storage is available at Sport Alber, and you can purchase ski passes right here at the front desk.

### Can we go hiking with a stroller?

Yes. The Verwall Adventure Valley is a great place to start, with playgrounds and legend stations along the way. For a slightly longer hike: from the Rendlbahn via the Tritschalpe through the Moostal to Alpe Rossfall and back to St. Anton—about two hours. For this, you’ll need a vehicle suitable for off-road driving with pneumatic tires and a parking brake. We’d be happy to advise you at the front desk.

### Can I bring my dog?

Bello is coming along. To find out how this works with kids and dogs, check out our page on vacationing with your dog.
